About Helen W. Whitehead
Helen Whitehead, CPCC and ACC, is an executive career coach with over 25 years prior experience in corporate leadership positions, over a decade in executive coaching, a B.A. in Psychology from Duke University, and coaching certifications from CTI and the International Coach Federation (ICF). Working with individuals, she is adept at getting people “unstuck”, crafting new visions, and building frameworks and tactical plans that result in them achieving their professional goals.
Helen is a certified professional co-active coach (CPCC) through, CTI, the nation’s leading coach training organization and is also an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coach Federation (ICF). Over the last 10+ years, Helen has had a robust executive coaching private practice and was concurrently employed as an executive coach by Randstad, a global outplacement corporation. With Randstad, Helen has coached executives in job transition from Fortune 500 organziations.
Prior to her coaching career, Helen had a successful 25+ year corporate career, starting with 8 years on healthcare commercial finance, followed by 20 years running shared services divisions for two national employers, in healthcare and real estate finance.
Helen has also been an active volunteer serving as past Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Carroll Hospital Center, a 200 bed hospital in Maryland. She also served as a board member for LIfe Bridge Health, a 4 hospital health system in Baltimore and the ARC of Carroll County.
